Who doesn't love a great weekend with the family, friends, and happy surprises in their email! Hmm where do I start? My best friend and her family came over on Friday and we had a great night of scrapbooking till 330 am!! I have to take some photos of the mini album she showed me how to make with scrapbook paper! In a few weeks were going to head to a scrapbook fair a few hours from where we live...can't wait!

Then on Saturday night with the hubby, I went to a friend's surprise birthday party! O.M.G their baby boy is so adorable!! Sorry I don't like to post pics of other people's kids. But here is a picture I love of us at the party!

A Wonderful Weekend...

Monday, March 21, 2011

It was such a wonderful weekend, I decided it would be nice to be silent on blogger, twitter, and facebook for the entire weekend and spend time with my husband and our family. We had a lovely visit to my husband's sister's house with her and her husband on Saturday. We had a little bbq, even though it got a lot colder than the beautiful day we had on Friday, but it was still very nice. I had a very big surprise from his sister too for my birthday! She owns a lovely antique shop and knew I needed a china cabinet and gave me the one I loved from her shop! How awesome is she! Sunday was another visit to his other sister's house for her daughter's 14th birthday! Wow the kids are growing up so fast!!

I haven't shown too many photos from the Philadelphia Flower Show and my own birthday yet so here are a few more!

Did you see Terri's honeymoon guest post on Bali? Terri from Try Anything Once came by the wedding blog to share with us her favorite things about Bali and why you may want to honeymoon there too, so check it out! I had the pleasure of finding Terri when she was Miss Swan on Weddingbee and always loved how true and real she was, and admired her beauty and strength. She's a wonderful woman so don't miss out!

You have made me feel welcomed into a wonderful community and I thank you.

BHLDN....

There are many new bridal collections and lines this year, from Vera Wang at David's Bridal...love, to BHLDN from Anthropologie...obsessed with! What I love is how creative and refreshing they both are and how they created more than just bridal gowns. I am amazed at all of the lovely accessories, sashes, headbands, and more. I imagine the BHLDN bride is more offbeat, relaxed, and unique. Most of their gowns and accessories remind me of theme weddings, but there are a few gowns that I can see the average, I want to be a princess, bride wearing!

What do you think about their bridal line, are there pieces you could see yourself wearing on your wedding day?

Check out these lovely accessories below and my other favorite picks including their gowns and bridal headbands at Wedding.AllWomenstalk....

These beautiful jewerly accessories are some of my favorites from their bridal line, would you wear any of these on your wedding day?

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, anything exciting going on? My best friend who was my MOH is celebrating her daughter's third birthday! Happy Birthday little turtle! She was actually born on leap day, so next year will be her official birthday, she'll be one and four! <3

The Royal Wedding...

Wednesday, March 2, 2011

So what do you make of all of the excitement? I've always been a fan of Prince William and even dreamed of marrying him when I was a teen! Were you as fascinated with Princess Diana as I was? She was a true beauty of a person, inside and out. I can't imagine what it must feel like for Prince William with planning a wedding and not having his mom there. I really love that Kate Middleton is like his mother, down to earth and someone who wasn't raised with a silver spoon in her mouth! I hope all of the excitement isn't too tough on her. Could you imagine going from the girl next door to being a Princess? Kind of like the movie, "The Prince & Me" with Julia Stiles.

So do you buy into all the items that are being sold to match the Royal Engagement and Wedding? Have you or would you buy any of them to throw your own inspired Royal Wedding? Oh yes, and what do you think Kate's gown will look like?!

A few months ago I wrote a post for Wedding.Allwomenstalk of all the designers who are hoping she picks one of their gowns, I wonder what she thinks of all of this fuss over her.

What if you met a Prince in college and he asked for your hand? Things change and your life is going to change, would you want to be a Princess?

Don't forget to check out the Official Royal Website celebrating their big day!

Can you believe all of the replicas inspired by their Royal Engagement! Check them out at Wedding.Allwomenstalk
