Who knew there were so many interesting ways to mix up your popcorn?! I've been noticing a lot of fun popcorn recipes on Pinterest lately so I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite ones. I am so happy to have so many lovely friends and I love sharing that with my readers. Blogging is really a great way to communicate while your planning a wedding, raising children, or looking for something to cook your husband! Perhaps tomorrow I will share with you a few of my favorite blogs for each of those topics! PS at the end of Aug or the start of Sept I will be getting to meet one of my favorite blogger friends...Casie from Casie Photographics!! I'm so thrilled and excited! Almost 100!!

OMG I am almost at 100 followers!! This is a big deal for me, I've had my personal blog since 2008 and went from having a few followers for the first couple of years to now almost 100!! I remember when I thought this blogging thing wasn't going to work and I never had any comments or readers. Well I am so glad and grateful for all of my followers, readers, and esp. my blogger friends. You have made 2010 and the start of 2011 really amazing for me, I really love what I do and Im so happy to be writing for a living over at my Wedding blog...Wedding.Allwomenstalk. You have made me feel welcomed into a wonderful community and I thank you.

For the 100th follower I would love to give something away so please give me some time to find out about this whole giveaway thing and I will get right back to you!! Happy Weekend everyone!

So What's New!

Not much going on today, just feels like a slow day at the office (home!) lol. Maybe that's because the Pittsburgh Steelers put on a sad performance at the Super Bowl yesterday. Not a happy night at this household!

But the night before, Saturday, was a really great night catching up with friends and hanging out with work friends at my husband's work party...same place I used to work! They call it their "holiday" party because the actual holiday season is very busy and too busy to hold a party so now each year they hold it close to Valentine's Day. The tables were decorated with Valentine's Day vases with little hearts and each couple got a company mug filled with candy! So we pretty much considered this our Valentine's Day gift to each other, my husband bought me a new dress for the party and we stayed the night in a beautiful room at the hotel where the party was hosted. It felt really nice to have the night to ourselves and get out on the town without the kids (we love you!). We even went to the bar for a little after party with our friends!

So what are you doing for Valentine's Day? Would you ever consider a Valentine's Day Wedding? I think it would be a great time to look for DIY decorations and projects during this holiday, especially if your wedding colors are red or pink. Favorite Blogs...

I'm a blogger and a blog stalker...how about you?! Most of my time on the internet is consumed by checking out tons of blogs, especially wedding blogs!! I wonder why?! New Wedding Post...

I heart the blog world!

OK...although it usually leads to some procrastination...I love the blogging world! As some of you may know I write another blog for AllWomenStalk.com and just like on blogspot readers leave comments about the posts. Well I'm always getting wonderful comments...on there and here. And through the comments I've found other bloggers...and through those bloggers Ive found more bloggers and a world of unique websites and such! Today I had a comment from blogger girl Erika over @ Cafe Fashionista and on her site she had an interview with Jennifer Perkins who has this cute website called Naughty Secretary Club where she sells her unique jewelry line. In the interview on Cafe Fashionista Jennifer said she came up with the name from being a "Naughty Secretary" at one of her first jobs out of college when she was going on the internet when she didn't have much to do at work! Hence the naughty part! Jennifer also has a blog right here on blogspot as well! Check out all these sites...you won't be disappointed!

How Awesome!

How awesome are people! I have another blog that I write for, as I mentioned before, AllWomenStalk, and I was just checking on some older post I wrote and I got a great comment from another blogger. And guess what this blogger did...she mentioned my allwomenstalk blog on her website!!! Please check out her blog...she seems to have some great advice and tips on there. Here she is: Suburban Grandma.

My blog on allwomenstalk was about bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts and Suburban Grandma mentioned that her daughter-in-law made some pretty creative and personal earrings and a necklace for her own bridesmaids. She has a pic of the jewelry set on her site...very nice gift indeed.

How Sweet!

How sweet the blog world can be when you find some really nice gals to talk to and to get advice from. Over at one of my fav blogs, Chickadee had asked her readers to ask her a question. And I was one of the lucky first to comment!! She made a post just on my question!! And here it is:

Dropping hints at Christmas

My first question!

D. Marie asks, "OK well I want to know how do you let your husband know what you want for Christmas without having to actually "tell" him! I know Christmas is about getting gifts...but I love scrapbooking but I feel bad when I keep spending my money on scrapbooking stuff when it should go towards the wedding or other things! "

My husband has always been really good at giving me gifts. He knows what I like, but he always asks too if there's anything I want. In the past I've made a list or given him a couple of suggestions. I know that falls under the category of "actually telling him," but is that so bad?

I guess you could whisper it in his ear when he's sleeping, leave magazines lying around with pages dog-eared or it always helps to have kids who can spill the beans.

Maybe my readers have some good suggestions about this. Can you help D. Marie drop the hint?
