I wish I wrote about it on the exact date, which was this passed Monday (May 24th), but I'm glad to be writing about it now! As you can see in the title...it was our one month wedding anniversary! Some of you may be saying, wow no big deal! I know it's only one month, but for me it was nice to see when I saw the date written down. Thinking about our wedding brings back a wonderful, warm feeling that puts a smile on my face. Whenever I'm having a bad day at work or don't feel like doing anything I look at our wedding photos and smile. I think of our family and friends who joined us for a beautiful celebration. I remember how I felt when I saw my stepdaughters and stepson standing up front in our wedding and when we all poured the sand in the vase together as a new blended family. I remember holding hands with my husband and reading my vows to him and taking in every moment. The day went by fast, but the memories and our life together will forever last. Forever n Always.

It makes me feel like a new person, a new woman, a wife, a stepmother with a whole new life and I couldn't love it more!

American Idol...who will be the winner...both!

American Idol is on tonight and it's finally down to my two favorite people Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze! I love both of their voices and style, which are very different. To me it doesn't matter who wins because they will both take their musical careers to places they have never dreamed of. For about five or six shows now I knew it was going to be Crystal and Lee. The other top ten contestants were good but they didn't have the "It" factor and they didn't bring a range of styles to the different song choices they picked each week. Lee and Crystal have their own style but they also bring different sounds to every song they sing and they both light up the stage. These two have what it takes!

Update: Congrats to Lee DeWyze!!! What an amazing show featuring Christina Aguilera, Bret Michaels, Hall and Oates, Chicago, Paula Abdul, Dane Cook, Janet Jackson, Alannis Morrissette, Bee Gees, Joe Cocker, Michael McDonald, Alice Cooper, and many former contestants like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Fantasia Barrino! Past contestants came out on stage singing a tribute to Simon on his farewell from the show. Paula was her funny self sitting on Simon's lap looking hot in a short pink dress and silver heels! If you missed it tonight, hopefully you caught it on dvr!

Honeymoon in Naples!

Our Honeymoon was another dream come true! Every day was a new adventure. We went on a site seeing boat, walked around a swamp sanctuary, ate soft shell crab sandwiches, swam in the beautiful Golf of Mexico, toured the town, and visited my aunt and uncle who lived 2 hours from where we were staying. Our hotel was right on the beach and every day there was a beautiful sunset. On the site seeing boat we found out that Martha Stewart, Judge Judy, and many other famous and rich people have million dollar homes right on Naples Bay! We couldn't have dreamed of a better time and we can't wait to go back!

We hope that the Golf of Mexico spill gets cleaned up because there are so many beautiful birds, wild life, and people depending on the life of the Gulf.
