WOOOHOO!!! WeddingBee was such a wonderful wedding blog to have during our planning process, a great community of brides and experts who are thoughtful, helpful, and full of ideas! This is why I am so excited to see our Glen Foerd venue review featured on their homepage!! Seeing this just made my day and gave me another reason why I love the wedding and blogging community! Thank you!

This was our head table with our beautiful lemon and blue hydrangea centerpieces from Flower Girl Florist! Are you having your wedding party sit together at one table or will you be doing a sweetheart table? It meant a lot to us to have our wedding party with us because they were our best friends and family members (including my stepchildren) and it filled our day with love to have them with us.

My first stay at a bed and breakfast was while my husband and I were engaged. We went down to visit his aunt and uncle to see their soon to be new home. While they were searching for a new home they needed a place to stay and happened upon the wonderful owner of the beautiful Smithfield Farm Bed and Breakfast. While we were visiting with them they wanted to share with us the amazing experience they enjoyed of the farm and we're sure glad they did! There is a main house that has several beautiful bedrooms for families and couples. But there is also a summer cottage next to the main house that is perfect for honeymooners!! It's the perfect getaway for a mini moon weekend where you have your own private kitchen, bathroom with a whirlpool tub, and an electric fireplace! And guess what, this is where we stayed while we were at the B&B! I had the perfect weekend with my fiance (now husband!) and couldn't wait to return for another visit. On the farm they even make their own pasta and jams, and sell meats and eggs. This was actually my first trip to VA and we even drove over to WVA where we bet on the horses and I won $75.00 on a $2.00 bet! While we honeymooned on the beach in Florida, I think the farm in Virginia would have been just as sweet and romantic. Are you staying at a B&B for your honeymoon? They even have weekend accommodation packages where they will help you propose to your significant other...how thoughtful!

I'm thinking of doing a post on tattooed brides on AllWomenStalk and would love it if real brides would share with me their wedding stories and their stories behind their tattoos. I've seen many beautiful tattooed brides on GreenWeddingShoes and StyleMePretty and I've always wanted to feature them on my bridal blog @ AllWomenStalk, esp because I'm a tattooed bride!! The two tattoos you can see in this photo are my two favorite...though I only have three...so far! The lastest one is a horseshoe and feather tattoo my husband and I got together right before our wedding because they symbolize our last names together as one! The other tattoo is a beautiful butterfly with a heart center, I've always loved butterflies and loved how unique this one was with the heart body. Where are all my tattooed brides, would you like to be featured on my blog in your wedding dress?

I'm so glad I did this post on First Daughter Weddings, it's so interesting to find out that many of them had at home receptions while others got married in the White House. Did you know that Amy Carter made her own wedding cake and that she kept her last name! I loved Chelsea Clinton's Vera Wang gown, she looked so happy! Read more @ AllWomenStalk about the 8 beautiful First Daughter Weddings including all the details you were wondering about Chelsea's!

My heart goes out to the people who lost their lives today in Connecticut where an angry, fired employee went on a shooting rampage. 8 people lost their lives and 8 families lost their loved ones. GOD Bless them all.
