Another search for something I really wanted for our wedding...this time it was a clutch handbag for each of our bridesmaids. I wanted something nice, but not too expensive...bride on a budget here! At first I was thinking that a Vera Bradley clutch would be nice and they have sales online all the time. However, I went to the store to check them out in person and it really wasn't the perfect clutch I was looking for. Don't get me wrong, I love Vera Bradley, but it just wasn't the right clutch for our wedding. So I searched the mall, Sears, Macys, Boscovs, everywhere! They were either too expensive, too prom like, or had too much beading going on! So I gave up and went home. The next day I was out at one of my favorite stores, Kohls, when I stumbled upon a cute silver clutch. Price wasn't too bad...$20.40 and the color matched really well with their silver heels. I liked them but didn't love them. I was tired of looking so I went ahead and bought three of them. I was looking to buy three different styles, but I hope the girls don't mind having the same purse. What do you think? Did you buy your girls a clutch, what did you buy for them? I previously bought them cute pearl earrings and necklaces at Claire's as well. Now I just want a little something personal to give them.

Beautiful Brides...Beautiful stories...crazy bridesmaid stories...

Bridesmaid Dresses

My girls and I were lucky to find a bridesmaid dress that looked great on all three of them esp. considering their different ages and sizes. But they all look beautiful...we can't wait till the actual dress comes in for each of them! Their dress is a Mori Lee in turquoise pictured here:



A lot of bridal parties are changing things up in recent years with matching colors but different dresses or matching dresses in different colors. I love that weddings are so relaxed now a days and anything goes. It seems to make for a less stressful time planning esp. when you have three easy going ladies in your bridal party like I do!! How Awesome!

How awesome are people! I have another blog that I write for, as I mentioned before, AllWomenStalk, and I was just checking on some older post I wrote and I got a great comment from another blogger. And guess what this blogger did...she mentioned my allwomenstalk blog on her website!!! Please check out her blog...she seems to have some great advice and tips on there. My blog on allwomenstalk was about bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts and Suburban Grandma mentioned that her daughter-in-law made some pretty creative and personal earrings and a necklace for her own bridesmaids. She has a pic of the jewelry set on her site...very nice gift indeed.

Three years!

One week from now will be our three year dating anniversary...or our pre-wedding anniversary!! I still cannot believe it has been three years. We have been very blessed in finding each other. I love him with all my heart. This coming April will be one year till our wedding! And I will also be trying on wedding dresses for the first time...I think I may have mentioned that before! I am most excited to see our girls (my future step daughters) in their bridesmaid dresses!!

I have to say that I am having a great time searching and finding wonderful wedding/bride blogs. At first I tried to google "Wedding Blogs" and only came up with a few sites. But some how I landed on http://with-this-ring-i-thee-obsess.blogspot.com/ and she has an amazing list of resources as does http://classicbride.blogspot.com/. Now my list of wedding blogs I am following is nonstop! I just want to thank the ladies at both these great blogs.
