Thank you everyone for the sweet comments! I wonder how our wedding day would have been if it were this year? There has been so much rain this season in our area, I'm sure I would have been a bride wearing cute rain boots holding an umbrella! But I wouldn't have let the rain stop our beautiful day! What about your wedding day, were there any crazy storms or events that happened? It actually started to get cloudy right after our reception and the next wedding had to bring their ceremony inside. This was our head table with our beautiful lemon and blue hydrangea centerpieces from Flower Girl Florist! Are you having your wedding party sit together at one table or will you be doing a sweetheart table? It meant a lot to us to have our wedding party with us because they were our best friends and family members (including my stepchildren) and it filled our day with love to have them with us.

How's Married Life?!

It's a question you hear all the time after your wedding. Everyone wants to know how things are going now that you're married! For us it's just as wonderful as it was before being married, but now we feel more connected. Now that I have taken my husband's name I feel like I'm part of the family and I'm officially his wife and stepmother to his children. When I call him my husband and he calls me his wife I feel my heart flutter and I feel proud. When someone asks me how my daughters are doing, I feel like a proud mother. How is married life for you? Has anything changed for you? I love married life, every day is an adventure and there is always something to do! ♥

I love how beautiful the mansion is in the background and how well it fits into the photo. Everything about this photo speaks of romance; it's the perfect wedding photo! You can see my veil, my train, his tie, and we look (because we are) so in love as I am touching his face! He looks so handsome!

One Month!

I wish I wrote about it on the exact date, which was this passed Monday (May 24th), but I'm glad to be writing about it now! As you can see in the title...it was our one month wedding anniversary! Some of you may be saying, wow no big deal! I know it's only one month, but for me it was nice to see when I saw the date written down. Thinking about our wedding brings back a wonderful, warm feeling that puts a smile on my face. Whenever I'm having a bad day at work or don't feel like doing anything I look at our wedding photos and smile. I think of our family and friends who joined us for a beautiful celebration. I remember how I felt when I saw my stepdaughters and stepson standing up front in our wedding and when we all poured the sand in the vase together as a new blended family. I remember holding hands with my husband and reading my vows to him and taking in every moment. The day went by fast, but the memories and our life together will forever last. Forever n Always.

It makes me feel like a new person, a new woman, a wife, a stepmother with a whole new life and I couldn't love it more!

We're MARRIED!

It was such an amazing day and we were so happy about everything. Glen Foerd's staff and all our vendors did an amazing job to make our day special.
