Ways to save on Letterpress Invitations...

Friday, June 25, 2010

I had the pleasure of working with Trish from Ajalon Printing and Design when she did a guest post for my other blog @ AllWomenStalk. Ajalon prints beautiful Letterpress invitations and has great sales on many designs. Trish understands that many brides love the unique work of Letterpress but may be on a budget that may over look these remarkable invitations.

Check out her guest post to find out 7 ways to save on LetterPress Printing

I love the two toned look of these beautiful flowers and writing. The RSVP postcard saves you money on postage and an extra envelope. Are you using Letterpress invitations, what do they look like?

Check out the Broke-Ass Bride!

I have loved the Broke-Ass Bride ever since I saw her on WeddingBee.com as Mrs. Meatball! Her and her husband had an amazing, personal, very true to themselves wedding. I love brides and grooms who keep the feel of their wedding true to who they really are. It's what we tried and hoped to express in our wedding and we think we did a great job! Check out this new post from Dana...they are trying to get a Broke-Ass Bride Tv Show...I would love that! They even made a YouTube video for a run through of what it might be like. I for one love it! I can see this on WE TV!

How's Married Life?!

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

It's a question you hear all the time after your wedding. Everyone wants to know how things are going now that you're married! For us it's just as wonderful as it was before being married, but now we feel more connected. Now that I have taken my husband's name I feel like I'm part of the family and I'm officially his wife and stepmother to his children. When I call him my husband and he calls me his wife I feel my heart flutter and I feel proud. When someone asks me how my daughters are doing, I feel like a proud mother. How is married life for you? Has anything changed for you? I love married life, every day is an adventure and there is always something to do! ♥

Here is one of my favorite pictures from our wedding @ Glen Foerd Historical Mansion...more to come!

(Pictures in a Snap)

I love how beautiful the mansion is in the background and how well it fits into the photo. Everything about this photo speaks of romance; it's the perfect wedding photo! You can see my veil, my train, his tie, and we look (because we are) so in love as I am touching his face! He looks so handsome!
