My Reality Come True

Saturday, July 31, 2010

You were in my dreams and now have become my reality.
I didn't need a fairy tale, I didn't need a castle.
I needed someone to hold, someone to love.
I didn't need a million dollars or a house on the beach.
I needed someone true to themselves, and true to me.
I wanted a reality come true, I wanted someone like you.

Dreams are made of cotton candy, lollipops, and candy canes.
Life is made of ups and downs, the good and bad, right and wrong.
A relationship isn't what you dream, it's what you make.
You can dream for happiness, but only we can make it happen.
My reality has come true, because I am in love with you.

What will your groom rock down the aisle?

Just as we have so many choices in gowns, now our grooms have so many styles in suits and tuxedos. Did you know that Kleinfield has a men's department? But what if your guy doesn't want to be just another groom in a traditional tux? No worries, your groom can go funky with converse sneakers or keep it simple in a grey vest from J.Crew. If you aren't sure where to start keep reading at AllWomenStalk.com for 7 Hot Groom Styles he will be sure to look good in!

I loved that my husband wore a tiffany blue tie to match his guys but rocked the ivory vest to match his bride (ME!). We first looked at the ivory tie and ivory vest together as a set like many guys wear, but when we took a photo at the tuxedo fitting it just seemed to blend too much and wash out the lines. The tiffany blue tie stood out as well as the ivory vest, the contrast was very handsome. I have to say we were a little more traditional in the tux style...but still very cool!

Will your groom rock converse like these guys?

Or rock the traditional style like my husband?

Our Wedding Rocked...and yours can too!

Every time I see our wedding photos I fall in love with our special day all over again. I remember the beautiful vows that we wrote together, I remember how beautiful my stepdaughter's voice was when she sang to us her own song, and I remember the unity sand ceremony we did with my husband's children (my step children). So many personal memories that were part of our day made it special for us and it's a great way for all brides to make their wedding uniquely their own! On our wedding day I knew that I wanted three very important women in my life to be close to me because they were no longer with us. I had a pin of my grandmother's name, which belonged to her, a heart locket that my other grandmother had given to my grandfather (also no longer with us), and a beautiful butterfly pin that was my great Aunt's. I put all three of these beautiful trinkets on my blue hydrangea bouquet and carried the memories of these strong, beautiful women with me all through out my wedding day and close to my heart is where they will always stay!
